The German Tinnitus Foundation Charité furthers research on tinnitus and other hearing disorders. The Foundation supports scientific studies and international scientific communication by organising symposia and workshops. In 2019, the German Tinnitus-Foundation Charité for the first time awards its

Research Prize "Tinnitus & Hearing"

worth 10.000 euros, donated by Restrukturierungspartner jwt GmbH & Co. KG.

The prize will honour outstanding achievements in the field of cause research, early detection and therapy of tinnitus and hearing damage.

Applicants* from the EU may apply. Papers can be submitted in German or English.

Please submit your

  • habilitation (post-doctorale thesis),
  • published excellent scientific papers (both not older than two years) or
  • presentations of planned research projects.

The submitted papers will be reviewed and evaluated by the Foundation's Scientific Advisory Board.

The award winner will be presented at the 21st Tinnitus Symposium, organized by the Tinnitus Center Charité and the German Tinnitus Foundation Charité, on December 7, 2019 in Berlin.
